The Dordogne, also known as the Périgord, is world famous for its many prehistoric sights, for example the caves of Lascaux, Font de Gaumes and the big national museum in Les Eyries. But also the beautiful sights as the bastides, villages and many many castles from the past are worth visiting.
On summer nights there are in different villages 'market de gourmande', this means that you can enjoy local food and drinks with music. Every evening there is somewhere a marche. Or you visit one of the local restaurants.
